Robbie Sherwell’s XL Surfing Academy

The academy teaches the skill of surfing at two of Queensland’s most beautiful beaches. The surf school offers offers group and private surfing lessons, beginner and intermediate surfing certificate courses, team building, surfing awareness for kids, adults, women’s only groups, parties, school groups and corporates. Peregian Originals

Peregian Originals is an open air community event that celebrates original live music and brings the Sunshine Coast community together. These events are held on 1st and 3rd Sundays in the park located between the Peregian Surf Club and the beach. Located behind the Peregian Beach Surf Club on Kingfisher Street – Venue facilities include a skate bowl, play equipment, patrolled beach, sausage sizzle & toilets. Shade can be limited & parking can be too- car pool or take public transport if possible.

Ginger Factory

The Ginger factory has it all, and admission is free. Partake in leisurely shopping and special treats, entertaining tours, rides, shows and fabulous food. The Factory is open 7 Days a week, 9am-5pm. Follow the Bruce Highway (M1) to the Yandina/Coolum exit and follow the Ginger Factory signs to 50 Pioneer Road, Yandina. The ginger factory is a great day out for the family, you truly can see, taste, smell and enjoy- just as their slogan says.

Caloundra Regional Art Gallery

This art gallery aims to present a changing exhibition program featuring leading local and national artists. Professional curators and education staff develop and deliver a range of exhibitions and public programs exploring the unique culture and character of the Sunshine Coast. The gallery is open Wednseday to Sunday from 10am-4pm.
