The Coastal Living September Auction Event!
Sunday 20 September, our five Coastal Living offices will come together at Mercedes-Benz Sunshine Coast for an incredible day of auctions, with over 100 properties going under the hammer across the Sunshine Coast.
Whether you’re ready to bid or simply doing your due diligence before auction day, we’ve put together everything you need to know below to help make the process as smooth as possible.

Pre registration: Closes at 5pm Friday 18 September
Registration: Commence at 9am
Auction commencement: 10am
With over 100 properties being auctioned throughout the day, auction registrations and paperwork can be busy, so we strongly encourage all prospective bidders to complete their registration and paperwork prior to Auction Day.
This will help ensure you’re ready to bid when your property comes up.
If you’re intending to bid at the Coastal Living Auction Event, please ensure you:

The entity nominated when registering to bid is the entity that will be used on the Contract of Sale. If you’re purchasing through a company or trust, we recommend confirming the correct purchasing entity with your solicitor or conveyancer before auction day. If the forms are not completed correctly, you may be unable to bid on the day.
Bidding in person on your own behalf
Complete the Bidder Registration Form and provide a copy of your photo ID.
Bidding by phone or online
Complete the appropriate Letter of Authority / Bidder Registration Form and provide the required photo ID.
Bidding through a Buyer’s Agent
Your Buyer’s Agent will need to be appropriately authorised to bid on your behalf. Please ensure the required documentation is completed prior to auction day.
Someone else bidding on your behalf
If a friend, family member or another third party will be bidding on your behalf, the appropriate authority form must be completed before they can bid.
Someone else to bid on your behalf
If you are purchasing through a company or trust, additional documentation will be required.
Company
You will be required to provide evidence of the company’s current ASIC details and authority for the person/s bidding and signing the Contract of Sale.
Trust
You will be required to provide the relevant trust deed and any supporting documentation relating to changes to the trustee or trust structure.
We recommend speaking with your solicitor or conveyancer before auction day if you are unsure which entity should be purchasing the property.
The deposit is payable following the successful fall of the hammer, in accordance with the terms of the Contract of Sale.
Please ensure you understand the deposit amount and payment requirements for the property you are bidding on and are prepared to make payment immediately following a successful purchase.
Queensland’s seller disclosure requirements apply to residential property transactions. Buyers should ensure they have reviewed the relevant Seller Disclosure Statement and Contract of Sale before bidding.
