Cotton Tree Backpackers soon to be demolished

By Amber Madden

The Essence of Cotton Tree is set to headline the growing Maroochydore Luxury Apartment Market in 2019. Preparation of the 1200m2 site will begin in the coming weeks with the demolition of the old Cotton Tree backpackers hostel and adjacent retail space.

The Essence of Cotton Tree, which boasts 19 luxury three-bedroom Residential apartments that have been purposely designed for the owner occupier market. There will also be an exclusive retail opportunity on the street level that would be ideal placement for a quality cafe, restaurant and fashion store to create added street engagement and conveniences for residents and their guests.

Ross Williamson and David Bolton the developers behind The Essence of Cotton Tree who are long term coast residents secured this key Cotton Tree site in 2013 with the view to building a building they will retire to with their families. “We are delighted to have been able to secure this beautiful site some years back and since then our design philosophy has simply to create a lifestyle property that we would proud to call home”

Ray White Maroochydore’s Dan Sowden, who is heading up the sales campaign for the project, said that “Buyer enquiry has remained consistent during the pre-launch phase which has seen five of the available 19 properties already placed under contract”

“Discerning buyers who have a clear purchasing agenda and are equally not willing to compromise on their future lifestyle are seeing tremendous value at Essence; simply it is ticking all the boxes.”

As to what specifics buyers for this type of property are seeking, Dan mentioned “These apartments have been purposely designed for owners and in that they are all very well sized at over 200m2, offer two car spaces with storage and feature a tremendous northerly aspect that includes some of the finest views from any vantage point in the area.”

“The liveability and convenience of these apartments are uncompromised.”

Once the demolition has occurred onsite, the existing viewing scaffolding will be removed and the display suite remodelled to facilitate continued sales within the project.
