Don’t miss out being involved in the coast’s largest community event of the year!
This event has fast become one of Australia’s most loved running events.
The 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon attracts many overseas competitors and more than 7,000 runners are estimated to take part in the race.
The 5th annual event kicks off at 5pm Friday 19th August with the Cricks Fun Run at Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club. A Family Movie Night will be held afterwards providing fun for the kids. We recommend packing a picnic blanket so you can kick back and enjoy the free entertainment. Music, food, face painting, pony rides and more will be available at the Alex Surf Club.
The marathon will start on Sunday 21 August from 6am from Alexandra Headland.
Money raised from this not-for-profit event will go to more than 70 charities. The funds raised to date are $32,128.
Our five Ray White offices on the Sunshine Coast are proud to be involved in the marathon and you can expect to see a number of our friendly faces volunteering this weekend.
