Latin Dancing at Emjays Maroochydore

By Property Management

Things are shaking up at Emjays Coffee Maroochydore with Latin dancing taking over the cafe on Friday, June 17.

Enjoy a fun night of Zouk, Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha dancing from 7.30pm. Free Zouk lessons start at 7.45pm and social dancing finishes at 11pm.

The event is run by the Let’s Dance Latin group and the hosts are Keith and Amanda Ferdinand. The door fee is $10 however; entry is free for all first time non-Latin dancers. See here for more information about the event.

The Let’s Dance Latin group will be arriving early to enjoy a meal at Emjays. Located on the Maroochy River opposite Cotton Tree Park, the cafe is next to our Ray White Maroochydore office.

Since opening late last year Emjays attracts a number of local clients from surrounding offices. The licensed cafe has an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fully licensed, they offer a range of boutique and craft beers, wines and ciders. There is a variety of seating inside while outside tables boast water views.

With their comfy leather couches and children’s play area indoors, it’s the perfect spot for a lunch date or quick coffee fix. Emjays Coffee offers a loyalty card program for repeat customers and online catering orders are available from their website here.

The cafe is easy to walk to, close to Big Top Shopping Centre and just off Ocean Street down Duporth Avenue.

Emjays is open from 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 8.30pm on Friday’s. On weekends they’re open 7am till 4pm.
