Sunshine Coast, QLD – Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim have once again demonstrated the strength of the Sunshine Coast property market, delivering outstanding results at their latest Auctions at Altitude event, with nearly $30 million in confirmed sales transacted in a single evening.
The event brought 34 properties to market, representing almost $50 million in total value, with 23 properties sold on the night, achieving a strong 68 per cent clearance rate.
Buyer competition remained intense throughout the evening, with 127 registered bidders and 207 people in the room, reinforcing the depth of demand across both coastal and hinterland markets.
Luxury Apartments Lead the Way
Luxury apartments once again led the market, with a number of multi-million-dollar sales recorded, underlining strong owner-occupier demand for premium coastal living.
The highest sale of the evening was achieved by a luxury apartment at 802/92 Sixth Avenue, Maroochydore, which sold for $3,300,000. Located within the renowned Verve Apartment Building on Sixth Avenue, the result highlights continued confidence in high-quality, owner-occupier apartment stock in prime coastal locations.

Leading prestige agent Niall Molloy, who successfully sold all five of his campaigns on the night, said the results reflected a clear shift in buyer preference at the top end of the market.
“These results underpin the demand for high-end luxury apartments on the riverfront,” Mr Molloy said.
Depth Across the Family Housing Market
Auctioneer and Director of Ray White Buderim, Jake Loiero, said the Sunshine Coast market continues to offer choice and opportunity for families across a range of price points.
“The Sunshine Coast market is still providing genuine options for families in the housing market,” Mr Loiero said. “The auctions of 3 Sunny Street, Palmview, which sold for $1,031,000, and 17 Wian Street, Buderim, which achieved $1,370,000, clearly illustrate that demand remains strong across well-located family homes.”

Competitive Bidding on Display
One of the most compelling moments of the evening came with the auction of 803/36–38 Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore, which became the longest auction of the night, running for an incredible 29 minutes and attracting more than 60 bids. The property eventually sold for $1,982,000, with bidding unfolding in remarkably tight increments — at times as low as $100 — as buyers competed to secure the eighth-level luxury two-bedroom apartment in the Waves building.

Auctioneer Commentary
Auctioneer Dan Sowden said the energy in the room reflected both the depth of buyer engagement and the collaboration across the two offices.
“The room was electric. There was an incredible level of collaboration between our selling teams, and on one property alone we had up to 19 registered bidders. This was a night where we truly brought the whole team together to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.”
Momentum Building Into 2026
With just under $30 million in sales achieved, Auctions at Altitude continues to prove the power of a high-energy, transparent auction environment, delivering certainty and premium results for sellers.
The outcomes from the night now provide a powerful platform heading into the new year, allowing January 2026 sellers to be promoted off the back of genuine, competitive market evidence achieved under the hammer.
Auctions at Altitude, proudly delivered by Ray White Maroochydore and Ray White Buderim, continues to cement its position as one of Queensland’s most influential auction events.
