Who Wants Some Ice Cream?

Kids, Who Wants Some Ice Cream? “Yes Please!”

Getting kids to say “Yes” to ice cream has been easier of late compared to getting bidders to say ‘Yes’ at auction with their hand in the air. Ray White Maroochydore Director and Auctioneer Dan Sowden said ‘We had a very successful auction schedule on Saturday with our Maroochydore Office selling 4 from 7 under the hammer with negotiations holding on the remaining 3. It really is a credit to our sales team in the way they have adapted and changed to manage the existing market.

One auction in particular for an entry level home in Bokarina saw 4 active bidders competing, “something we haven’t seen for some time” Marketing Agent Simon Birse commented “There has always been interest in the sub $450,000 market on the beachside area of Kawana Waters; it’s only now the bidders have decided to put their hands up”.  The 3 Bedroom Home sold for $402,500 to local investors. Annie Ness also reported a great result with her weekend sale at 130

Diddillibah Road, Woombye, an acreage home that was purchased some 65 years ago. “We had 3 active bidders with the property being sold for $835,000 well above the reserve price”.

There is momentum starting to build back into our local property market and it is really the Auction process that is brining the buyers and sellers together. “There are some quality properties in the market at the moment and with buyers circulating, sometimes you need a reason for the buyers to purchase, Auction Day provides just that” Dan added. With another 25 properties set to go under the hammer in coming weeks, the team at Ray White Maroochydore are confident some great results for property owners are on the horizon.
