Ray White Offices Raise Over $100,000 for Drought Stricken Farmers

Even following recent rain in some areas large portions of Australia remain drought-affected with thousands of families in rural areas doing it tough.

Founded in rural Queensland over 110 years ago Ray White has an inextricable link to rural Australia with a number of members eager to give a hand to those in need.

Across the nation through varied initiatives the combined efforts of Ray White members have so far raised in excess of $110,000 that has been donated to rural charities to assist those affected through this difficult time.

The Ray White Network and the Paul White Family has heavily supported the Drought Angels initiative which is specifically helping farmers and farming communities struggling through crippling drought.

Many families can no longer afford to put food on their own tables. These are the very people who put food on our tables so we need to support them as much as we can.

Over Christmas the Drought Angels were completely run off their feet with a large amount of donations coming in and providing support and delivering prepaid credit cards directly to drought stricken farmers.

Co-founders Tash Johnston and Nicki Blackwell would like to thank the Ray White Network for supporting this initiative and helping drought stricken farmers in such a BIG WAY.

Paul White, Joint Chairman Ray White Group would like to thank everyone who has contributed and encourage others to donate as the challenge facing these families is not yet over.

There are still so many more that could benefit from support and donations. A $40 donation can provide one family meals for a week. This is not a short term issue and the Drought Angels are in it for the long haul, as they are so passionate about the rural community and letting them know they are not forgotten.
