Protocol for Working with Tenanted Properties during COVID-19 Social Isolation

To all of the Trades, our extended team it is important to us that you take extra precaution when attending tenanted properties to undertake the works we request of you.

It is equally important that our tenants and their home receive an increased level of care to ensure we do not inadvertently spread unnecessary germs.

Accordingly we would like you to undertake the following additional processes, as part of going about your work day.

Self Hygiene

If you are in fact suffering from any cold like symptoms it will be unsuitable for you to attend tenanted properties. We request you refrain until you are healthy again. If you are healthy and proceeding with an appointment, please carry and use in advance of attending a property hand sanitiser. Following your works please wipe down all surfaces that you have come in contact with disinfectant. Please make it known to the tenant that this is your process.

Making an Appointment

It is important now to speak with a tenant about making an appointment. Before confirming a time please ask the tenant if they are available for an appointment for you to attend to X work order, when they or a family member are currently self isolating and it may be necessary to ask if they have recently returned from overseas. Ascertaining these responses should assist in whether it is suitable to still attend an appointment.

Key Collection

Although our team at this stage is fully operational we may during the course of this event have some team members working from home. Therefore we would ask that all key collections and returns start to occur where possible from Monday to Friday between 8:30-9:30am. This means we will be able to adequate staff our front of house to ensure a quick and efficient process.

Please ensure you have emailed reception rentals.maroochydore@raywhite.com a list of keys you intend to collect so they are accessible.
