Open Garden Extravaganza for Leukaemia Foundation

You are invited to a fantastic local initiative, The Open Garden Extravaganza in Kiels Mountain in aid of the Leukaemia Foundation.

Set on approximately 3 acres, high on Kiels Mountain, framed by hinterland and rural views, this garden emerges from a ‘bush landscape’. Diverse shapes, textures and living sculptures create a visual spectacle that has been described as ‘botanical architecture’. Casually stroll through the meandering paths and lawn or sit high above the garden in the rotunda, enjoying a coffee and cake while you listen for birds or other native wildlife that inhabit the acreage garden.

The Open Garden will be presented to the public on July 15, 16 and 17th at 10 Kaalba Court, Kiels Mountain, raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation. This stunning garden will provide a great day out for the whole family, with the design set to inspire and captivate all visitors.

The real life experience of the Garden is captivating, with garden creator Craig Smythe enthusiastic about the prospect of raising much needed funds for a worthwhile cause.

“We are hoping to attract as many people as possible to attend and support the fund raiser.”

“This is a garden of healing, a garden that provides therapy and a garden that will inspire. Note, 90% of the entry fee will be donated directly to the Leukaemia Foundation. Come and enjoy our garden, knowing you are making a valuable charitable contribution to research into blood cancers” said Mr Smythe.

ENTRY FEE: $8 per person
