Auction Clearance Rate tops 54% at Ray Whites Auctions at Altitude

The Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim offices joined forces last night to host the highly successful Auction at Altitude event at at The Altitude Nine Function Centre, marked a significant achievement in the local real estate market, drawing an impressive gathering of more than 200 people plus over 300 online market watchers. 

This collaborative effort showcased the strength of the Sunshine Coast property market and delivered extraordinary outcomes for sellers with many buyers snapping up their new purchase just before Christmas

Headlining the evening’s sales was 39 Panorama Crescent, Buderim, which achieved a remarkable result of $2,325,000 under the hammer with Greg Turnbull and Grace Voller.. This stunning property captivated buyers with its elevated position and breathtaking views, epitomizing the premium lifestyle offerings of the region. The home drew interest from Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Cairns and New Zealand. 

In total, 24 properties were auctioned, with 13 sold, achieving a 54% clearance rate and generating nearly $16 million in sales. The event drew 40 registered bidders and over 200 attendees, creating an electric atmosphere filled with excitement and opportunity. “There are another 4 properties that are likely to sell inside the next 24-48 hours, so we expect post auction sales to top 80% within the next week” Dan Sowden Director of Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim

Among the notable results was 33 King Street, Buderim, The marketing agent Brodie Rodgers said it was “an original cottage owned by the same family for 23 years. The property, highly sought after by developers for its large land parcel, sold for $1,150,000. The successful buyers, having missed out on 23 Caroline Crescent earlier in the evening, secured this home after outbidding five other parties”.

Another standout was 19/7 Grand Parade, “St Kitts,” Kawana Island, purchased by a South Australian buyer through the offices’ targeted database marketing. After just 30 days on the market, it sold unconditionally for $1.55 million. This result was achieved following a strategic marketing approach that outperformed prior efforts with another agency, which listed the property for six months without success.
