Because tenant’s don’t own the building, they don’t need to be concerned with building insurance but might want to consider contents cover for their personal belongings and any items the tenant is legally responsible for under the lease agreement.

We never expect that a fire, house break in or malicious act will happen to us, but with Ray White Tenant Insurance, tenants can ensure their household contents can be covered in these unexpected events. Other benefits include up to $20 million in legal liability cover, compensation for fracture, temporary removal of contents from your risk address and spoilage of refrigerated/freezer foods.

Items away from the home

For an additional premium, personal effects cover option can be added for any mobile, laptop or important jewellery to be covered when away from home.

Insured events

Ray White Tenant Insurance will cover loss or damage in events due to:

Accidental breakage of glass
Earthquake or tsunami
Explosion
Fire or smoke
Flood (optional and subject to eligibility)
Impact damage
Lightning or thunderbolt
Malicious acts
Riot or civil commotion
Storm, rainwater or run-off
Theft, burglary or housebreaking
Water or other liquid damage
