There’s no doubt the Sunshine Coast Property market is one of the brightest beacons in the Australian property landscape right now and Maroochydore is no exception.
With luxury three-bedroom apartments high on the wish list of prospective buyers seeking a sea change to this coveted part of the Coast, there has never been a better time to sell.
In fact, according to recent research by Domain Insights, buyers looking to buy high-end, three-bedroom apartments in Maroochydore has increased by 13 percent compared to the same time last year, coupled with a ten per cent drop in the number of available properties during the same period.
Director of Ray White Maroochydore Dan Sowden is not surprised by the new data, saying it’s the reason why prices in the luxury apartment market are steady and showing no signs of slowing, despite the uncertainty of COVID-19.
“The evidence identifies this market as very hot,” says Dan. “COVID-19 is prompting buyers to consider their quality of life and where they intend to spend their future.
“If anything, it has brought this question to the front of our minds and the early signs is that Maroochydore is a destination of choice for many Australians thinking about where they will be living in the future.”
Dan’s sentiments are echoed by Ray White Maroochydore agent, Jeff Uebergang, who has experienced just how quickly three-bedroom apartments are selling.
“A recent three-bedroom Maroochydore apartment I recently listed had three inspections in the first 72 hours, with two of them going into competition straight away,” says Jeff.
“Without even taking it to the market, I was able to introduce 40 buyers to the property from our database.”
“The proud new owners, a couple from Western Qld who are looking forward to a sea change, are delighted with their new home.
“Everyone who walked through the property are planning on moving to the Sunshine Coast in the future.”
