A perfect match!

Sale at 6 Anticipation Close, Nambour

Affordability and a relaxed, laid back lifestyle with a swimming pool were top of the “wish list” for the proud new owners of 6 Anticipation Close in Nambour and they were lucky enough to tick all the boxes when they purchased the beautiful three-bedroom home recently.

Located in a quiet street and perfectly suited for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the CBD, the home was exactly what the couple were looking for.

“The new owner purchased it as her forever home. She had recently come from Tasmania for a holiday to Queensland and loved it so much she never left,” says agent Sarah-Louise Anderson.

“She sold her home in Tasmania and was renting in Noosa but really wanted something that was low maintenance, quiet, with a pool in an affordable area.”

Tightly held for the past seven years, the previous owners had made quite a few improvements to the home, including a well-designed inground swimming pool and outdoor entertainment area.

“It was their first home, so they put a lot of love into it, particularly the outdoor living area, which is perfect for those lazy summer days synonymous with our Queensland lifestyle,” says Sarah-Louise.

“The home has such a nice location too. Backing on to a nature reserve, it is really peaceful, yet you are still near everything.

“Nambour is one of the more affordable suburbs on the Sunshine Coast, as it’s still up and coming. Being from Tasmania, the buyer was after somewhere a little more laid back, so it was the perfect fit.”

Previously listed with another agency, the Nambour home had been for sale for quite some time. After making the decision to take it off the market when COVID hit, the vendors were fortunate to meet Sarah-Louise who took over the listing and sold the property within four weeks.

“I met the owners at an open home for one of my other properties in Maroochydore they had an interest in,” says Sarah-Louise.

“After meeting with them at their home, hearing their story and getting to know them a bit better, they decided to list the property with Ray White Maroochydore.

“We listed the property on our Ray White domain only, not the big online portals and we still had five groups through the first open house, which was a great result.”

The new owner made an offer within 48 hours of inspection and after a couple of days of negotiations, the house sold in July for $440,000.

“The house was listed at $445,000, so the owners were chuffed with the result,” says Sarah-Louise.

Having already moved into their new abode, Sarah-Louise can report the proud new owners are delighted with their choice.

Now all she has to do is find the perfect abode for the vendors who are looking for their next home in beautiful Sunshine Cove.

It’s all in a day’s work for this busy Ray White Maroochydore agent!
