A Huge Thank You

A huge thank you to all particpants and guests for joining us at the 2010 ANZ Tour de Kawana Cystic Fibrosis Charity Cycle.

Clear blue skies greeted nearly 600 cyclists as they made their way around Lake Kawana for the fifth Tour de Kawana which raises much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.

While our fast riders braved a chilly morning, the sunshine was beaming by the time our families and charity riders took to the track.

The turn out on the day was a warm show of support to Queensland’s CF Community and this fabulous Sunshine Coast Community event, now in its fifth year.

The annual event got off to a flying start at the pre-event luncheon held at the Maroochy Events Centre on the Friday prior with Ray White Maroochydore prinpical Dan Sowden’s auction generating significant excitement and funds from guests.

Over $75,000 was raised from the lunch and the charity cycle with all funds directed toward supporting nearly 100 local families from Caloundra to Wide Bay who have been affected by cystic fibrosis.

We look forward to having you join us for next year’s festivities and putting that pedal to the metal all over again!
