$588 Million Dollar Budget Invested In Maroochydore CBD

Christmas is coming and so is our new city, located in Maroochydore at the heart of the Sunshine Coast!

The Sunshine Coast City Centre is predicted to create countless jobs over the 20 year life of the project, and is the only greenfield for a CBD in the nation. These jobs will consist of prime commercial office space, CBD style retail space, dining and entertainment precincts, significant public parkland and waterways, a premium hotel and an entertainment, convention and exhibition centre. These ground breaking developments are set to significantly benefit future generations as further career opportunities for our youth will be offered right here on the coast.

The council has committed a $588Million budget to improve the community with strong assets such as sporting facilities, libraries, galleries, community facilities, airport and holiday parks. Maroochydore is fast becoming the epi-centre of the evolving Sunshine Coast.
