With the COVID-19 crisis unfolding, we’ve had to be flexible and change the way we do business.
As you may have already heard in the news of late, public on-site auctions and open homes are now banned across Australia as we fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
So how are we doing Auctions now?
We are so excited to announce that we are going under the virtual hammer at Ray White Maroochydore, by moving our auctions online to bid and buy in the ‘new normal’ way.
This brand-new facility allows bidders to still see each other as well as the auctioneer, through an online platform, which helps us to maintain the competitive forum that is synonymous with previous on-site public auctions.
Take a look at our video below which explains a bit about how this will work.
To our customers who are looking to buy and sell in the current market, take comfort in knowing there is still a lot of activity out there and we’re here with you to support your ambitions.
Last Saturday, the Ray White Group reported a 52% auction clearance rate from the 383 auctions booked nationally, as we introduced our new Private Online Auction platform. This is 10% higher than the same period a year ago in the pre-election period.
We also helped buyers and sellers transact $935,099,072 in the last 7 days, and we are committed to continue delivering outstanding service to our clients, however we possibly can.
So what about Open Homes – how can you view Property now?
As current Government regulations allow, we are able to show properties for sale through Private inspections by appointment. This allows the agent and one other person (the buyer) to walk through a property at any given time, while acknowledging social distancing standards.
If this doesn’t suit for any reason, we are also offering Virtual tours, whereby the sales agent can walk a buyer through a property virtually, whilst the buyer sits in the comfort of their home, as well as pre-recorded virtual property tours. Take a look at one of our latest pre-recorded virtual tour videos below.
Things are changing but one thing stays the same at Ray White Maroochydore: we care for our clients and our community. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a helping hand or professional advice – we’re with you.
If you’d like to know more about these new processes and technologies please call us, or alternatively leave your details below and we will phone you.
