How did you get into real estate/ What attracted you to a career in real estate?

Unlike a lot of people I never had a serious interest in property. The attraction to Real Estate was the chance to meet new people every day. I loved the chance to start a career in an industry that offered a unlimited potential based largly on work ethic and the art of understanding someone else’s needs and helping them to achieve their goals.

What do you believe is the secret to success?

I think we’re all still trying to understand this ourselves! I still don’t think we know exactly because it seems to be different for different people. Success to me is being able to balance a successful career without working every waking minute! I’d like to have more time for the other things in life, the reasons why we’re all here on the Coast. The water, the beach, spending time with people important to us outside of work!

What does it mean to you to be a part of the Ray White brand? In short, why Ray White.

Global brand, unmatched support and visionary directors from the top down. We have incredible staff and it’s a joy coming into the office.

What is your current real estate market like?

I’m sure there’s not a single agent that’s going to say their area isn’t red hot. But I’m blessed to be working in Cotton Tree and regardless of what the markets like it’s a beautiful place to be. We love going into stunning Penthouses and looking across at the coastline stretched in both directions. Where else would you rather be! It’s a stunning spot.

What advice would you give to others starting in the industry?

Always think of the bigger picture, be in it for the long haul. Build a business for the future with clients that you’ll want to keep for life. If you think it’ll come quickly and easily it might not be the industry for you!

What is it like to work on the Sunshine Coast?

I think we have one of the most relaxed and easy going demographics in Australia. It seems most of our clients have an easy going and care free approach to life that makes working and living here so pleasurable.

What do you like to do outside of real estate/in your spare time?

What spare time?! I have a beautiful 3 year old girl so between work and finding new adventures to go on with her there isn’t time for much else. The occasional surf, volleyball game and some basketball, that’s it!
