How did you get into real estate/ What attracted you to a career in real estate?
Always had an interest in property so I originally applied for a receptionist role but Dan decided to hire me as a BDM, and I have never looked back.
What do you believe is the secret to success?
Consistency, without a doubt
What is your current real estate market like?
A little slow, but that is entirely normal over winter. Not as many tenant enquiries and not as high rents are achieved.
What does it mean to you to be a part of the Ray White brand? In short, why Ray White.
Being part of the Ray White brand offers support. From corporate training, to assistance from other members of the team – it’s a real team atmosphere which I love.
What are the challenges of working in this industry?
Dealing with peoples homes, their shelter, it can get very emotional for parties involved sometimes. You have to learn to take any personal emotions out of the equation.
What advice would you give to others starting in the industry?
Get ready to work hard!
What is it like to work on the Sunshine Coast?
A dream, coming from the UK originally, I never dreamed I would end up somewhere like this. The Sunshine Coast has so much going for it and with all the future development planned, it is only going to get better.
What do you like to do outside of real estate/in your spare time?
Training at the gym, trail running, going out on the boat, and camping.
