Dining Out

The Deli Co
Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore
The Deli Co would have to be our absolutely favourite coffee shop! As a coffee enthusiast it takes some time to perfect the perfect cup of coffee, temperature, coffee bean and grind, temperature of the milk and the list goes on. The surrounds of the shop is also important to the decision as you also want to enjoy the atmosphere whilst you sip your coffee and read the morning paper. When I need a coffee, you can’t go past the Deli- but don’t believe me, just try for yourself. (Written by Nicholas Criss, Ray White Maroochydore – Emporio Project Sales).

Nights on Ocean
Ocean Street, Maroochydore
Nights on Ocean is a Maroochydore institution. Held the 2nd Friday of every month, the whole street is shut off from traffic and comes alive with market stall holders. An epic evening full of food, music, art and culture the night out attracts 6,000-12,000 people each month. You can also follow on to one of the many bars or restaurants along Ocean street.

Cotton Tree Markets – Sunday
King Street, Cotton Tree
Cotton Tree Markets have been going for as long as I can remember. In the early hours of Sunday morning, market stall operators arrive setting up their stands and closing the road off. By 9am, car parking is difficult as locals and holiday makers converge on cotton tree filling up the street, local cafes and breakfast bars. Local produce, odds and bods and traditional gardening supplies are usually on offer until around lunch time (or when they are sold out!)

Cafe ‘Nude’
King Street, Cotton Tree (next to Swells)
Hungry at 7am? Nude in Cotton Tree, seriously good food in a fun and funky environment. This is certainly where the locals go for their favourite breakfast. Whether it is to just catch up with yourself mid week or a weekend breakfast with friends, Nude will certainly let you leave feeling good, and just not full!

Something Special
Duporth Riverside Building, Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore
When you want to impress that special someone or to make up for what you may have forgot? You certainly can’t go past the restaurant ‘Ebb’ on Duporth Avenue. Positioned on the water’s edge within the Duporth Riverside Building, there is certainly nothing better than dining on the water’s edge….. White table cloth and a glass of your favourite vintage.
